This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a well-respected, very reputable and high earning practice in Bishop Strotford. You are responsible for driving the practice performance, treatment coordination delivering the objectives set relating to revenue targets and leading the existing team and supporting their day to day roles. A practice manager must ensure all audit and financial processes are completed to company standards.

The role

  • Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
  • Planning income targets for the practice, then reviewing & analysing P&L to ensure you achieve or exceed these targets
  • Monitoring KPIs & support clinicians to achieve their targets
  • Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
  • Ensuring the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines (as the CQC registered manager)
  • Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff

You will need to be

  • Commercially minded individual
  • Confident leading a team of between 7 – 15 staff
  • Understanding how to generate income and control costs
  • Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
  • Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients and your practice team
  • Previous dental experience essential holding an NEBDN nursing qualification

Experience required

  • Would suit an individual who has 2+ years’ experience as a Practice Manager
  • Candidates should ideally have previous experience of working in a clinical environment, preferably in the dental sector.
