Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary 0-25 EHCP Coordinator to work in Swindon. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £210 – £265 per day (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role:

On behalf of the Council, to lead and manage processes for statutory assessments and statutory planning for students 0-25 years with special educational needs and disabilities

To work effectively in partnership with parents, young people, education, health and care services, commissioners and information services in the delivery and improvement of statutory processes for special educational needs and improve outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the statutory assessment and plan processes for children and young people with special educational needs as part of a team of coordinators.
  • To work directly in partnership with parents, children and young people, providers and practitioners to make sure Swindon has an efficient and effective statutory process that continually improves outcomes for the children and young people.
  • To promote and facilitate strengths based, person centred approaches and support effective quality assurance processes and evidence based decision making for consistency and accountability.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Educated to degree level in a related area or substantial equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1+ year of post-graduate experience in a similar role.
  • Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS check.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
