Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Curriculum Development Coordinator to work in Haringey. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £24.82 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).

Key Responsibilities:

      To act as cross service lead for Learning Support with overall responsibility for maintaining high quality accreditation and delivery.

To maintain accurate Learner Support records

To manage and develop Learning Support programmes and guides for teaching and frontline staff, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing progress to promote high standards of delivery by staff in an environment of continuous quality improvement.

To provide a frontline service, giving initial assessment and referral support to learners with support needs. formation and advice about the HALS offer and enrolment processes to existing and prospective learners.

To design and lead service wide LS systems, and maximise AEB draw down for learner need.

To work with the Business Manager and Management Team to engage frontline staff with Learning Support offer.

To work with the OLC manager to provide support using the Open Learning Centre and break out areas.

To act as a tutor member of the FSCD Curriculum Area and deliver a teaching load as agreed with the Curriculum Manager

As lead to maintain overall responsibility for the operation of the Learner Support System, including evaluation and implementation of systems, support and mentoring of delivery staff and quality assurance of programme delivery.

To provide accurate information to colleagues and learners on eligibility for public funding in real time and advise on support by accurately applying funding rules.

To undertake Learning Records Service (LRS) checks as part of the onboarding processes and advise learners and relevant curriculum staff on the outcomes

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Applicants should have completed or be working towards an appropriate teaching qualification in line with nationally recognised standards (DTLLS or equivalent).
  • Experience: Experience of leading improvement in learner support. Experience of acting as an assessor and internal verifier. Assessing and teaching to a high standard on courses to learners with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS check and references covering the past 3 years.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 36 hours p/w.
