Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Education, Health and Care Plan Coordinator to work in Solihull. There are 3 vacancies available, 2 are for a minimum of 3 months and the other vacancy is for 12 months. The hourly rate will range from £18.60 – £20.00 per hour.
This role will require someone who is resilient, reliable, able to effectively manage work loads and to be able to multitask as this role will involve working on multiple complex cases which will involve engagement with schools, parents and the child.

To act as a named Education Health Care Plan Coordinator on behalf of the Council by liaising on, negotiating, advising and coordinating support to children, young people and their families from professionals and partners organisations / services (e.g. Schools, Health, Social Care, Advocacy services, Third sector, Primary Care Trusts and others) from the point of referral to ceasing a child or young person’s Education, Health and Care plan, or Statement of special educational need.
To manage a caseload of children and young people with Statements of special educational needs, Education, Health and Care plans, and children and young people undergoing a statutory assessment under section 36 Children and Families Act 2014.
To commission and analyse professional advice from a wide range of sources (Education, Health, Social Care and other partner organisations), parental information and children’s wishes / feelings.
- Qualifications: Relevant professional qualification (Teaching, Psychology, Child Care, Social Work).
- Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
- Compliance: Current DBS check.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
