Seven Education are looking for an Interim Pupil Place Planner to work with Redbridge Council. This position is initially for a period of 2 months and is paying £450.00 per day (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role:

This is a short term piece of work to check the Councils data and predictions for the number of pupils there will be over the next few years and to advise on what they need to do to setup a permanent role/team. The Council are just looking for someone with pupil/school place planning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and developing appropriate systems to ensure the effective management of early years, school, SEND and alternative provision place planning, including the modelling of pupil number projections
  • Developing and managing the proposals for school organisation changes and statutory consultations on school place and related activities.
  • Manipulating and analysing complex datasets, drawing conclusions from data and translating this into pupil place planning strategy
  • Engaging and effectively communicating with a variety of stakeholders within the education and schools sector in relation to school place planning
  • Providing information and advice to school leaders and governors, senior officers and elected members of the Council.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 years experience of working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS check.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 36 hours p/w.
