Nursery Practitioner Level 3 / Key person – Winnersh
We are currently looking to recruit for a Nursery Practitioner / Key Person and looking for people qualified at level 3.
To work as part of a team supporting all children and to be committed to the high quality care and education of chilren aged 3 months to 8 years with a professional approach and attitude towards children, parents, staff and visitors.
To work in accordance with Government Regulations ‘The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage’, ‘Every Child Matters’ Wokingham’s Principles for Early Years and Nursery policies and procedures.
To implement the daily routine to actively promote the development of each individual child and meet the ethos of the nursery.
To provide and sustain in co-operation with other staff an environment which is safe, homely, welcoming, stimulating, friendly and fun.
To look at the nursery as a “whole” where can your help be most utilised? Be constantly aware of the needs of individual children.
Encourage children in your care to;
Use their own ideas, interests and learning styles to support them in making meaningful choices.
Enjoy and achieve what they set out to do and meet challenges by providing support to enable them to reach their goal.
Be involved, concentrate and persist with activities when challenges occur and be proud of what they have accomplished.
Experiment, explore, discover and problem solve.
Develop a sense of awe and wonder.
Engage in making relationships and communicating with their peers and other adults.
Develop self-confident and have a positive self – esteem and sense of worth.
