Seven Education is looking for a Lab Technician specializing in physics to work as a permanent member of staff within an established and popular high school in Cambridge.

Part time- 20 hours per week.

The role:

You will be expected to be well-organised, prep equipment for physics lessons and assist teacher in preparations.The successful candidate will also be expected to provide excellent pastoral care to all students.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide technical support to teachers and students, ensuring that equipment is functioning and ready to use, and that the correct equipment and materials are available for particular lessons. The Laboratory Technician will contribute to the students’ learning experience by assisting with the preparation of materials and apparatus for practical work, innovating and creating new equipment.To uphold high standards of laboratory safety, keep stock checks, place orders, take care of deliveries and invoices as well as keep financial records.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Candidate must hvae a Physics background
  • Proof of ability to work and live in the UK
  • Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
