Seven Education is looking for a History Teacher to work as a temporary member of staff within an established and popular high school in Cambridgeshire.

The role:

You will be expected to deliver well-organised and engaging History lessons consistently across KS3-KS4, and to have the capacity to deliver History at A Level in the future. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide excellent pastoral care to all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher/Form Tutor
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
  • To share and support the College’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: University Degree at grade 2:2 or above.
  • Experience: 1+ year of post-graduate experience as a Teacher in the UK.
  • Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. QTS gained from an ITT programme.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
