£23,000 – £28,000

Situated in a residential area of Dundee, our Client’s private Hospital provides assessment and intervention for up to ten people with learning disabilities with or without autistic spectrum disorder, as well as complex needs and behaviours. The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team which provides service to people who have Learning Disability with health care or psychiatric needs – in return for your efforts you will be rewarded with a salary of up to £28,000 and a variety of benefits such as fully sponsored training, courtesy meals and career progression.

 

What to expect:

      You’ll provide clinical evidence based Occupational therapy service to our patients.

You will also provide supervision and appraisal for designated staff to promote professional development and assist in implementing service developments within the Company.

To monitor and evaluate the outcome of clinical practices and liaise with team members in the development of effective models of service delivery.

To participate fully in the multidisciplinary patient care programmes including the delivery of therapy programmes and the provision of aids.

To contribute to the development and management of the team through provision of relevant information and training

Requirements:

      Previous experience of working in an challenging behavioural setting

Experience of working with adults who have a Learning Disability and Mental Health issues

At least one years’ post registration

Degree in Occupational Therapy and Registered with the HCPC

Knowledge of the continuous improvements and changes in law within the Healthcare sector.

Analysis of information, time management skills, prioritisation of work, ability to provide guidance to service users, record keeping, ability to lead and develop projects.

A full UK Driving license and access to a Car
