Seven Healthcare is looking for an Band 7 PSYCHOLOGIST/CBT THERAPIST to fill an exclusive opportunity in Ayrshire area.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist to join our growing team. We require highly skilled and motivated practitioners to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing high quality, specialist evidence-based treatment to Veterans. The post holders will be innovative, enthusiastic and flexible and able to work both autonomously and as part of the team.

Key elements of the roles will include;

– delivering CBT on a one to one and group basis including intensive trauma focused CBT

– contributing psychological expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team

– contributing to service evaluation, audit and research

– contributing to policy and service development

We are particularly interested in receiving applications from those with experience in the specialist field of trauma

All psychological therapists are professionally managed with appropriate levels of supervision, peer support and specialist training.

This role will be subject to a DBS check.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree in Psychology or equivalent.

Evidence of Post Graduate training.

Experience: Respect the confidentiality and privacy of patients and staff at all time – Health and Safety.

To comply with all aspects of the health and safety policies and to participate in mandatory training as required.

Maintain at all times a safe working environment and report any issues of concern as appropriate.

Compliance: HCPC Registration. DBS check.

Travel: To travel to and from the location independently.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours a week
