Seven Social Care is looking for an experienced Housing manager in Farringdon, EC1M 3JF to fill an exclusive opportunity specialising in all services within a leasehold retirement scheme to meet the requirements of the lease whilst providing a safe and welcoming environment that enables leaseholders to feel secure and live independently.

The role:

As a Housing Manager you will be working intuitively collaboratively with colleagues in your region and at the Customer Service Centre, you will ensure our customers receive a brilliant service locally and our Customer Promise Standards are achieved. You will use your creative spark to make sure our properties and environments are safe, secure and well managed, supporting our communities to thrive. With an eye for detail you will reach sound, evidence-based decisions on generic housing management issues to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Naturally commercial, you will lead on compliance to our processes so that rental, service charge and other income is maximised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Health and Safety standards are monitored and maintained to achieve 100% compliance, and that servicing, repairs and scheme security requirements are always co-ordinated and monitored efficiently at the scheme.
  • Facilitate in conjunction with the Leasehold Retirement Manager and Maintenance Surveyor the delivery of the annual programme of major repair, replacement and improvements works for the scheme.
  • Ensure that the communal areas of the scheme are clean, safe and welcoming for use by residents and their guests and that the safety and security of the scheme is always maintained. Order repairs and maintenance as required.

Applicant Requirements:

Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.

  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 20 hours p/w.
