Benefits & Housing Needs Assistant

Seven Resourcing are currently looking for a Benefits & Housing Needs Assistant to work within Hackney. We are looking for a benefits assistant to To provide admin support in the administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, and Discretionary Hardship Payments schemes.

Some Key Information is Highlighted Below:

Rate:£19.54 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week. Monday – Friday. 9am – 5pm.

Location: Hackney

JD can be provided.

Key Skills & Experience

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative, including prioritising of own workload to meet required deadlines.
• You will have good communication skills, both written and oral along with good numeracy skills.
• You will have excellent ability to communicate with customers and colleagues.
• You will be able to organise and prioritise your workload and take responsibility to work accurately, efficiently and ensure deadlines are met.
• You will have the ability to work under pressure, as part of a team and with minimum supervision.
• Experience of using spreadsheets and ability to adapt to changing ICT requirements.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a pressurised working environment that are subject to frequently changing circumstances in order to achieve targets within challenging timescales.
