Case Prevention Officer | £30.18 P/H | London Borough of Tower Hamlets

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable individual who is passionate about providing excellent youth support and the delivery of clean safe care.

This is a 3 month contract position, with the potential of becoming a permanent member of staff, making this a particularly exciting opportunity for applicants.

Please note, we require previous experience in a similar setting (1-2 years minimum), a valid DBS issued within the last year

The Role

You will a part of the team as a Case Prevention Officers ensuring that the quality of assessment, planning, implementation and delivery of out-of-court work is consistently good. This will support children’s desistance from offending, safeguard children from significant harm and protect the public. The service is committed to ‘child first’ principles and approach for which collaboration with children, families and multi-agency partners is at the heart of everything we do. Overall, Tower Hamlets and City of London Youth Justice Service is currently rated as ‘Requires improvement’ by the inspectorate. A comprehensive delivery plan has been developed by the service alongside the workforce and wider partnership to further improve standards and outcomes for children. We are seeking an experienced individual within a youth justice context who has an unwavering commitment to delivering the best outcomes for Tower Hamlets children.
