Cluster Lead Nurse

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cluster Lead Nurse to join our professional healthcare team in Brixton, London. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of nursing operations, and a willingness to uplift the sector’s standards by implementing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the management of multiple wards/units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to all patients.

2. Lead and inspire nursing teams across the cluster, promoting a culture of compassion, professionalism, and teamwork.

3. Act as a clinical expert, providing guidance and advice on complex patient care issues.

4. Manage staff rosters, workloads, and the deployment of nursing staff across the cluster.

5. Implement policies and procedures in line with current legislation and local/national guidelines.

6. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care paths and discharge planning.

7. Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

8. Handle complaints, conduct investigations, and implement changes where necessary.

9. Ensure the professional development of nursing staff through effective performance management, mentorship, and training opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Valid NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) Registration.

2. A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a senior nursing role, with a background in managing healthcare teams.

3. Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

5. Proficient in standard computer software packages and electronic patient record systems.

6. A solid understanding of healthcare legislation, policies and procedures, and medical ethics.

7. Ability to maintain high-levels of confidentiality and operate with the utmost professionalism at all times.
