Cluster Lead Nurse

Seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cluster Lead Nurse in Worthing to oversee the nursing services within our healthcare group. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation and coordination of patient care practices, uphold the highest standards of nursing protocols and procedures, and lead a team of dedicated nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a cluster of nursing units.

2. Implement patient care services by ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.

3. Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring the highest quality care.

4. Offer hands-on expertise and assistance to nursing staff as required.

5. Conduct performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to team members.

6. Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

7. Active participation in continuous professional development and nursing research to enhance quality of nursing care.

8. Liaise regularly with management, colleagues, patients, and their families to ensure excellent communication and continuity of care.

9. Take responsibility for maintaining rigorous infection control prevention measures.

10. Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Hold a valid UK nursing registration.

2. Extensive nursing experience, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.

3. Proactive with excellent leadership and management skills.

4. A strong commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care.

5. Excellent judgement and decision-making abilities in high pressured situations.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work in a varied and demanding role.

8. Continually updated professional knowledge base.

9. Strong team building and staff development skills.

10. Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and patient dignity at all times.
