Exempt Accommodation Reviewing Manager

Seven resourcing are currently looking for an Exempt Accommodation Reviewing Manager to work within Enfield. 

We are looking for an experienced Exempt Accommodation Reviewing Manager that sits within the Housing Benefit / Financial Assessment structure. The main purpose of the role is to set up and lead a new multidisciplinary team, and to lead on reviewing our existing and potential new caseload of supported (exempt) accommodation tenants and providers.

The team will consist of 3 Exempt Accommodation Reviewing Officers, one Fraud Investigator and two Senior Financial Assessment Officers. You will report to the Head of Financial Assessment.

The purpose of the team will be to assess the need for and provision of care, support, and supervision from a housing duty perspective. Challenging tenant eligibility for supported housing and provider eligibility under Housing Benefit regulations will be the main focus, as well as reducing the elements that make up the eligible rent. A good understanding of housing benefit subsidy rules would be advantageous.

Rate: £32.01 per hour

Hours: 37 per week

JD can be provided.
