Non Medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking a Non-Medical Prescriber in Edgware, United Kingdom. This position requires a healthcare professional who is capable of prescribing medicines, treatments, and therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess a patient’s condition and prescribe suitable, effective treatments.
2. Communicate with and advise patients about their medication, possible side effects, interactions and the desired outcomes.
3. Request and interpret necessary tests or investigations.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records.
5. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and healthcare programmes.
6. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines, developments in treatment and healthcare practices.
7. Provide expert advice on medical conditions and treatments.
8. Follow the UK’s legal and ethical guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Relevant healthcare professional registration (NMC/ GPhC/ HCPC).
2. Independent prescribing qualification.
3. Extensive experience in a similar role.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient care skills.
5. Knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics, clinical governance and complex reasoning skills.
6. Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records.
7. Ability to work under pressure and make informed, effective decisions.
8. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
