Non-Medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber for a dynamic and challenging role in Worcester, UK. The ideal candidate will be confident and competent in providing high-quality patient care in a community setting.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide holistic, accessible, high-quality, and cost-effective health services that meet the needs of clients.
2. Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, appropriate to client needs and in accordance with evidence-based practice and national and practice protocols, and within their scope of practice.
3. Work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to client care.
4. Evaluate client progress through ongoing assessment, adjustment of care plans, and follow-up care.
5. Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development, participate in clinical auditing, and maintain up-to-date prescribing practices.
6. Adhere to all local policies and guidelines in relation to medication administration and documentation to maintain compliance with the legal and professional standards.
7. Provide advice, information, and education regarding medication and health issues to clients and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
1. Valid NMC pin and recorded as a Non-Medical Prescriber on the NMC register or GPhC register for pharmacists.
2. Demonstratable experience of working within the scope of a Non-Medical Prescriber.
3. The ability to undertake a comprehensive clinical/medicines history, including appropriate differential diagnosis.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
5. Excellent decision-making skills and patient management skills.
6. Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of clinical governance and professional regulatory bodies.
The salary on offer for this position is £50 per hour. To be considered for this role, you must be eligible to work in the UK.
