Non-Medical Prescriber

seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced non-medical prescriber for a key role in Watford. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a professional and friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality patient consultations, diagnose conditions and provide suitable treatment in line with set guidelines and protocols.

2. Engage with patients to manage their ongoing medication needs through monitored dosage systems and regular medication assessments.

3. Collaborate with healthcare teams for creating personalized care plans while advising on well-being and health issues.

4. Prescribe and review medication regimes, ensuring treatment effectiveness, the least possible side effects and cost efficiency.

5. Write prescriptions in accordance with best practice, current legislation and ethical considerations.

6. Ensure accurate documentation of all care provided in line with legislative requirements.

7. Keep up-to-date with developing medical literature and incorporate into clinical risk management.

Qualifications/Skills:

1. Registered Nurse or a Pharmacist with valid NMC or GPhC registration.

2. Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification (V300).

3. Proven experience working as a Non-Medical Prescriber.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Strong knowledge of relevant drugs, medical conditions and their management.

6. Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as required by the service.

7. Knowledge in electronic patient record systems.
