Non-Medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber to join our team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to provide high-quality care to our patients while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform patient consultations, understand patient history and diagnose conditions.

2. Prescribe and review medications and treatments independently where necessary.

3. Work alongside healthcare professionals to discuss care plans and manage risk.

4. Provide advice to other healthcare professionals about medicines, their uses and potential side effects.

5. Ensure that all medications prescribed for patients are safe, effective, and appropriate for the individual’s needs.

6. Participate in continual professional development (CPD) activities to maintain and update professional skills and legal competencies.

7. Adhere to legal and ethical standards.

8. Maintain accurate, detailed patient medical records.

9. Evaluate patient response to medications and therapeutic treatments.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid registration as a Non-Medical Prescriber with the appropriate regulatory body in the UK.

2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Non-Medical Prescriber.

3. Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient management skills.

4. Up-to-date knowledge of latest practices and a strong understanding of healthcare laws and safety standards.

5. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

6. Strong decision-making skills and professional judgement.

7. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
