Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking a dedicated Recovery Worker to join our team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will play a critical role in offering support to individuals with diverse needs, aiding in their recovery right in the heart of our community.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Develop tailored recovery plans that take into account the specific needs and objectives of each individual.
2. Provide practical support to service users, helping them face a variety of challenges and meet their daily needs.
3. Encourage the integration of service users into the community by facilitating access to and involvement in local services and activities.
4. Perform risk assessments regularly, ensuring the safety of the service user at all times.
5. Deliver therapeutic and structured activities to support the recovery and wellbeing of service users.
6. Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. A minimum of NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a health care setting.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Knowledge of the issues faced by those affected by substance misuse, mental health problems, or homelessness would be advantageous.
5. An understanding and experience of risk assessment and management.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
7. Must be committed, compassionate, respectful, and able to handle stressful situations with patience and empathy.
