Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a competent and dedicated Recovery Worker to join our team in Harrow. As a Recovery Worker, your role will be critical in providing support and guidance to individuals on a path to sustainable recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Working closely with individuals to support their recovery journey, helping them make the personal and social adjustments necessary for successful recuperation.

2. Delivering therapeutic interventions and structured recovery-focused support, as well as managing own caseload.

3. Assisting service users in daily functions, such as managing personal affairs and handling living skills.

4. Participating in the delivery of training and workshops concerning recovery education.

5. Collaborating with other medical and non-medical staff to ensure a rounded approach to patient recovery.

6. Taking routine responsibility for screening and referral processes.

7. Assisting service users in establishing links with external resources within the community for a broader support network.

8. Maintaining complete and accurate records of service user’s progress and interventions.

9. Adhering to policies and protocols that protect patient privacy and comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

2. A recognised professional qualification in social care, health care, or a related field is preferred.

3. Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Resilient character with an ability to cope under pressure while maintaining excellent quality of work.

3. Ability to foster strong professional relationships with both service users and colleagues.

Note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
