Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice are in search for a compassionate and experienced Recovery Worker to join our dynamic team in Fleetwood, UK. The ideal candidate will be tasked with providing support for those dealing with substance misuse and mental health conditions, helping them towards a healthier, more independent life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing robust risk management and relapse prevention plans to support service users.

2. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with service users, and promoting a multi-disciplinary approach to recovery.

3. Designing and delivering effective recovery plans, tailoring treatments to the unique needs and potential of each individual.

4. Facilitating therapeutic groups and one-on-one sessions.

5. Actively participating in case reviews and contributing to service development.

6. Collaborating with healthcare providers, social services, and family members to optimise care plans.

7. Ensuring all administrative work is up to date and compliant with company and legislative requirements.

Requirements:

1. Experience in a similar role is essential, particularly dealing with substance misuse and recovery.

2. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

3. Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counselling, Psychology).

4. A genuine desire to make a real difference in service users’ lives.

5. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and on-call as necessary.

6. Full UK driving license is preferred.

7. Right to work in the UK.
