Remote Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and self-motivated Remote Recovery Worker to join our passionate team in Brighton. This role will be completed remotely, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while providing essential support to individuals dealing with mental health and substance misuse issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Deliver personalised care plans and provide practical and emotional support to our clients over the phone or through online platforms.
2. Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor clients’ progress, motivating them towards achieving their recovery goals.
3. Work with our multidisciplinary team to design and implement clients’ holistic recovery plans.
4. Deliver group therapy sessions online, following standard protocols.
5. Educate clients on coping strategies and relapse prevention techniques.
6. Liaise effectively with clients’ families, social workers, and other professionals involved in their treatment process.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and interventions.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Previous professional experience in a similar role, preferably within mental health and substance misuse recovery field.
2. Proficient skills in operating computer systems and software programmes necessary for the role.
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and provide emotional support.
4. Knowledge of recovery models and holistic approaches to aid recovery.
5. Comfortable working remotely, exhibiting excellent self-organisational skills and discipline.
6. Relevant degree or certification in a related field (Psychology, Counseling, Social work, etc.) is preferred.
