Substance Misuse Nurse

Seven Criminal Justice is looking for a motivated Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

The role involves working with clients who have substance misuse issues, ensuring a high standard of care is offered, developing care plans, and implementing treatments in a supportive and non-judgmental manner.

Pay Rate is £33-£42 Per Hour 

Responsibilities:

– Conducting assessments of patients, including identifying their needs and appropriate treatments.

– Empowering clients and supporting them to make positive lifestyle changes.

– Ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of all patients.

– Maintaining accurate records of patient care and treatment plans.

– Working closely with external agencies and health professionals to deliver appropriate treatment.

– Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

– Regularly reviewing and updating care plans.

Requirements:

– A registered nurse with active NMC registration

– Previous experience in substance misuse treatment

– Knowledge of the various types of substances and their effects

– Ability to develop effective care plans and tailor treatment plans to individual needs

– Strong communication skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Dedication to providing high-quality care to patients
