Seven Resourcing are looking to fill a Substance Misuse Trainer role in Hull. This is a hybrid permanent full time position.

Salary £24,657 – £30,088 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design and deliver training sessions on substance misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery to professionals and service users

– Develop training materials, resources and support tools to enhance learning and engagement

– Collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders to develop and implement joint training programmes

– Provide one-to-one support, coaching, and mentoring to professionals and service users

– Facilitate group discussion and reflective practice sessions

– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and provide feedback to stakeholders

– Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to substance misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery

Qualifications and Requirements:

– GCESE in English and Maths or equivalent

– At least 3 years of experience in substance misuse education, prevention, and treatment

– A Level 3 qualification in Substance Misuse

– Excellent presentation and communication skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders

– Knowledge of current substance misuse practices and policies
