Tenant and Homeowner Involvement Team Leader

Seven Resourcing are currently looking for a Tenant and Homeowner Involvement Team Leader to work withing Southwark Council.
Purpose of the role:
1. The purpose of this role is to ensure we involve our residents in improving landlord services and promote strong and sustainable neighbourhoods with significant emphasis on community outreach and support for local communities. 2. You will provide operational management support for resident-led oversight and scrutiny boards and ensure we offer a wide range of involvement opportunities for residents to hold the council accountable for the design and delivery of landlord services.
3. You will lead the delivery and implementation of Southwark’s Housing resident involvement strategy and operational plans to ensure we are close to the homes, blocks and estates we manage and deliver a resident involvement service that is proactive, people centred and responsive to local needs.
Some Key Information is Highlighted below:
Rate: £35.26 per hour.
Hours: 36 per week. This job required working outside normal office hours to attend meetings and events
JD can be provided.
Person Specification
Essential:A degree and membership of the chartered institute of Housing or ongoing professional development in public sector housing management.
Essential: Demonstratable understanding of local community issues and challenges in delivering community cohesion projects and practical actions to create strong and vibrant neighbourhoods.
Essential: Proven experience as a residents and/or community participation lead role within a fast paced programme operating environment.
Essential: Experience of developing and nurturing excellent professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
