Driver – Transport

Seven Resourcing are looking for a Minibus Driver to work with Hammersmith and Fullham council, which is in the West End of London.

This positions are initially for a period of 3 months and are paying £17.28 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role of the Minibus Driver:

To work with Adults and Children with learning disabilities and Autism.

To be available any day of the week including weekends and possible evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

To transport adult and child passengers from their homes/ care facility to their day care centre, school/ education or other site as required by the service.

To provide excellent customer service and the highest standard of care and consideration in transporting our vulnerable passengers.

To ensure passengers are loaded and unloaded safely and with respect.

To ensure that vehicles are driven in a legal, safe and responsible manner at all times.

To operate all auxiliary equipment fitted to vehicles such as lifts, ramps, steps, radios, wheelchair clamps/ harnesses and restraints in a safe and proper manner.

To ensure the safe removal and replacement of seating within the minibus when necessary.

To ensure wheelchairs, frames, oxygen cylinders and luggage are restrained in a safe and proper manner and any associated risk assessment is carried out prior to transport taking place.

To ensure that all operational and corporate reporting/training is carried out in line with service delivery.

Applicant Requirements:-

Experience: 6 Months experience of Home to School, SEND or Adult Social Care Transport

Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK

Travel: Clean UK driving license, Driving Licence needs to have D1 (101) and an enhanced DBS

Hours: 28 hours p/w.
