Hairdressing Assessor

Seven Education is looking for a Hairdressing Assessor to work with South Thames College (Wandsworth). This is initially for around a 3-month period, but likely to be extended upon this. We are also looking for a starter ASAP, the pay is £40 per hour via an umbrella company, there are 7 hours available this can be split over 2 days if required.

 

The role:

 

The South Thames College are currently in need of a qualified agency worker to do internal verification for our Hairdressing department (City & Guilds qualification Level 1 – 3).  It will be a total of 7 hours of internal verification on site (can be split over two days), perhaps a Wednesday.

Applicant Requirements:

Full qualification in Level 2 and 3 Hairdressing INCLUDING men’s har cutting on BOTH levels… preferably barbering but can be just men’s cutting if necessary.

Full IV, (V1 and V2) qualification and A1 assessors with TAQA update.

Current CPD for the year 23/24 of at least 50 hours working in the industry on MEN’s cutting.

Be familiar and well versed at the City and Guilds IV process, (we have all the paperwork).

Be prepared to bring in photocopies of their qualifications, CV and CPD for the year, (again we have paperwork for the CPD)

Be prepared to share the ‘original’ copies of their certificates with the EQA on request after the visit to the centre.
