Seven Education is looking for an Media Lecturer at South Thames Colleges Group

The role:

 Job Description: Media Lecturer – teaching and Course Leading on Level 1 Media (BTEC), L2 Creative Media Production and Technology (UAL), L3 Diploma Creative Media Production and Technology (UAL), L3 Extended Diploma Creative Media Production and Technology (UAL), academic tutor, supporting students with their Final Major Projects

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 21 hours per week

Monday: 9-1.30pm

Wednesday: 9-1.30 & 2.30-4.30pm

Thursday: 9-1.30 & 2.30-4.30pm

Friday: 10-1.30 & 2.30-4.30pm

Length of Contract: at least for 1 term (Term 3)

Qualifications / experience:

A thorough understanding of visual and sound production for, film, animation and VFX using a variety of production and post-production techniques and platforms.

Experience within the creative media industry, and it would be desirable to have practical and technical skills for learners to develop vocational practice, such as technical ability with cameras, sound equipment, and editing skills (Adobe Suite).
