Media Production Lecturer

Seven Education are looking for a Media Lecturer to work with one of our established Colleges in Salford . To start asap covering vacancy for up to 7 weeks . 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, £29.21 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The role:

Must have experience of Media Production  – Advanced Editing and Directing

PGCE

Key responsibilities:

Teaching a range of subjects, including filmmaking, video editing, camera operating, journalism, audience theory, pre-production processes, creative writing and the development of Maths and English.

Tutoring a group of students, showing sensitivity to their needs, and supporting personal development, behaviour, and welfare to the highest possible standards.

Assisting and working with students towards successful completion of Work Experience and Industry Placement

Assisting students in their progression from their course, either to Higher Education or employment.

Working in close co-operation with the Subject Area Manager for Creative & Digital in creating and producing schemes of learning, to include offering new ideas and helping develop and change course content to benefit learner outcomes.

Promoting the course and recruiting appropriately.

Having an interest in new and emerging techniques and technology for Film and Media production.
