What you will do:

  • Oversee all aspects of Home to School Travel finance, ensuring the authorisation of payments is within a clear framework.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review and develop financial and other processes continuously.
  • Provide strategic financial and commissioning support to the Strategic Commissioner SEND, including responsibilities related to the Joint Strategic Needs Analysis for SEND.
  • Coordinate and maintain an overview of home to school travel planning, informing strategic commissioning decisions effectively.
  • Support One Swindon Priorities by promoting education opportunities that equip individuals with the right skills for the right jobs, help people to be self-reliant, and protect the most vulnerable children and adults.
