Wandsworth – Admissions Coordinator – South Thames Colleges Group

Seven Education is looking for an Admissions Coordinator at South Thames Colleges Group in Wandsworth

The Role

Reporting to the Admissions Manager the post-holder is responsible for the day to day management and development of the Admissions and Reception teams at Wandsworth and Tooting sites. The postholder will ensure high quality, responsive and accurate service is provided to all customers.

Main Purposes and Responsibilities

 

 

 

 

    Management on a day to day basis, the client-facing Admissions and Reception services, including applications, enrolments, switchboard and email communications

 

 

 

 

      Participate in the delivery of the client-facing services and work with Admissions Manager to ensure appropriate staffing structure and resources are in place to deliver a quality service

Line-manage Admissions and Reception Team, ensuring a cohesive, efficient and productive team culture is evident and reflected in services offered

Organise student enrolment and fee collection efficiently and accurately and ensure the completeness of data entry, in accordance with the College’s enrolment and financial regulations

Work with Admissions Manager and other relevant staff to plan the yearly cycle of activity in Admissions, including briefing and/or training of all staff who are involved in the front-facing services

Produce and analyse complex data and information, using excel data and mail merge functions

Receive and evaluate feedback on Admissions service and makes recommendations for quality improvements and changes to the services to the Head of Admissions

Support the Student Services Manager (Enrolment) in the review (at least annually) and update (to reflect changes to procedures, accidents/incident/near misses and any actions arising) of the written health and safety risk assessments and procedures as they relate to the post-holder’s area of responsibility

Represent Admissions in team meetings and deputise for Admissions Manager where required

Ensure that the staff team receive and attend appropriate mandatory training and Admissions training and adhere to College procedures
