Children’s Social Care Occupational Therapist

Seven Social Care is looking for a Children’s Social Care Occupational Therapist at London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council

The role:

To provide a high-quality occupational therapy service to children and young people with disabilities up to the age of 18 years in line with the statutory requirements of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act.

To enable children and young people to be as independent as possible and support parents/carers to safely care for them through the provision of equipment, adaptations and assessments for rehousing .

Work as a member of the Children’s Social Care Occupational Therapy Service having a clinical caseload of children and young people with complex multiple pathologies who exhibit a range of psychological, neurological, emotional, behavioural, social problems or developmental conditions.

To assist in development and provide leadership within the Children’s Social Care Occupational Therapy Team and provide supervision and support to unqualified staff as required
