Registered General Nurse

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our health care team in Gloucester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exemplary patient care services, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans following standard nursing procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess patients’ health and their requirements and work on a suitable care plan with the healthcare team.

2. Monitor and record patient conditions and report any changes to the doctors in charge.

3. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

4. Deliver bedside care, assist with basic functions, and collect samples for lab testing.

5. Evaluate and oversee patient care by directing and coordinating all nursing activities.

6. Document medical care, monitor medical charting, and write detailed reports on treatments given and patient progress.

7. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and members of the patient’s team to maintain a high level of care.

8. Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition.

9. Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatments and care procedures.

10. Keep current on all mandatory certifications and partake in educational opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:

1. Must be a Registered General Nurse with active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.

2. A minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or general health care setting.

3. Exceptional understanding of best practices and nursing methods and procedures.

4. Excellent knowledge of emergency care and ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

5. Competent in the use of modern medical technology and equipment.

6. Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills.

7. Patient-centric with a passion for providing high-quality care.

8. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
