Registered General Nurse

Seven Healthcare are currently seeking a committed and reliable Registered General Nurse (RGN) for an opportunity in Weymouth, UK. You will be a crucial part of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care within a dynamic environment to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide holistic, personalised care to patients, taking into consideration their physical, emotional, social, and mental needs.

2. Implement patient care plans and conduct assessments.

3. Observe, monitor, and record various patient conditions.

4. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

5. Ensure patient safety and promote self-care wherever possible.

6. Involve and educate patients and their families in healthcare planning.

7. Facilitate a supportive environment for patients and their families.

8. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient care.

9. Adhere to health and safety protocols, as well as infection control protocols.

10. Maintain accurate patient records and comply with professional nursing codes of conduct.

Requirements:

1. Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

2. Proven experience as a Registered General Nurse.

3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.

5. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

6. Up-to-date knowledge of nursing best practices and necessary medical terminology.

7. Proficient in using healthcare software and computer systems.

8. Professional, caring, and empathetic approach to patient care.

9. Ability to respond effectively to changing situations.

10. Strong problem-solving capabilities.
