Registered General Nurse (RGN)

Seven Nursing are looking for an experienced and professional Registered General Nurse to join our healthcare team in Carmarthen. As a Registered General Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients. You will work under the direction of senior nurses and doctors, and you will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assessing and monitoring the physical and mental health of patients

– Administering medication and treatments recommended by doctors

– Maintaining clear and accurate patient records

– Communicating with doctors, patients, and their families about patient care and treatment plans

– Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures

– Supporting patients to manage their conditions and promoting positive health behaviors

– Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

Skills and Qualifications:

– NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse

– Experience in a clinical setting, ideally in a hospital or care home

– Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards of care

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively

– A commitment to ongoing professional development.
