Registered Mental Health Nurse

Seven Healthcare are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our healthcare team based in Bourne, UK. The potential candidate will be an integral team member, providing exceptional patient-centered care and treatment for individuals suffering from various mental health conditions.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans for patients with mental health needs.

2. Administering medication and monitoring effects, managing patient records, and ensuring that the necessary documentation is kept up to date.

3. Providing therapeutic interventions and establishing treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

4. Offering group and one-on-one mental health sessions.

5. Recognising and responding to deteriorating mental health in patients timely and effectively.

6. Ensuring that all legal requirements and codes of practice relating to mental health care are adhered to.

7. Offering support and education to family members where appropriate.

Eligibility:

1. Must have a valid NMC Pin as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

2. Must possess a minimum of two years of experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Strong understanding of the care planning process and risk assessment.

5. Ability to maintain a high standard of care delivery, even under challenging circumstances.

Desirable:

1. Experience in a range of mental health environments including acute, community, and forensic settings.

2. A post-registration qualification in a mental health specialty.
