Registered Mental Health Nurse

Seven Healthcare are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team in Bourne End. This role involves providing exceptional patient care in a mental health setting, respecting patients’ confidentiality, dignity and privacy at all times.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans for patients with mental health conditions.

2. Observing and monitoring the mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing of patients, documenting all necessary information.

3. Formulating care plans in collaboration with patients, their families, and other team members.

4. Responding responsibly to patient’s needs and concerns and ensuring effective, clear communication with patients, carers, and families.

5. Administering medications according to prescriptions and keeping meticulous records pertaining to patients’ medication.

6. Participating in regular multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and educational opportunities to enhance competence and professional knowledge.

7. Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety, and cleanliness standards and policies.

Requirements:

1. Must have a valid NMC Pin.

2. Proven experience as a registered mental health nurse.

3. Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge.

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure.

6. Ability and disposition to respect and uphold patients’ rights to confidentiality and privacy.
