Registered Mental Health Nurse

Seven Healthcare are seeking a compassionate and devoted Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The successful candidate will be proficient in providing efficient, patient-centred care to individuals with a variety of mental health conditions.

Responsibilities:

1. To work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive mental health services.

2. To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care according to established standards and protocols.

3. To provide individual or group therapy and crisis intervention.

4. To manage medications and promote patients’ adherence to therapies or treatments.

5. To monitor patients’ emotional and mental well-being, as well as any physical health issues, and to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

6. To maintain confidentiality while ensuring all clinical documentation and reports are accurate and up to date.

7. To assist patients and their families in understanding the nature of mental health disorders and teaching them about living with these conditions.

8. To participate in continuing education, professional development, and stay updated with the latest trends in mental health nursing.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of a Diploma in Nursing or a Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Nursing.

2. Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

3. Experience in mental health care, crisis management, and therapy is desirable.

4. Proficient understanding of regulatory standards.

5. Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

6. A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
