Registered Mental Health Nurse

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our esteemed health care facility in West Sussex, UK. The chosen candidate will work as an integral part of our team to provide top-notch mental health care services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care plans.

2. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families.

3. Cooperate with multidisciplinary team members to set and achieve attainable therapeutic goals.

4. Attend to any medical and mental health needs of patients; administer prescribed medications and provide treatment therapies.

5. Maintain accurate documentation of patient’s care, condition, progress and concerns.

6. Respond to patient crises and emergencies as needed.

7. Educate and provide support counseling to patient’s families.

8. Adhere to healthcare laws, regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

1. Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

2. Proven experience in providing high-quality mental health care.

3. An in-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment methods.

4. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

5. Ability to handle stressful situations and manage people effectively.

6. Committed to continuous professional development.

7. Understanding patient confidentiality obligations.

Working schedule will be flexible, with overnight and holiday shifts potentially required. Our facility prioritizes patient care above all and needs someone who shares this ethos and has a genuinely caring demeanor.
