Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our medical team in Powys, UK. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, which involves assessing patient health, administering care, and developing and implementing nurse care plans.

Responsibilities:

1. Determine the needs of individual patients by conducting thorough assessments of their health and wellbeing.

2. Develop and implement care plans to meet individual patient needs.

3. Provide quality nursing care to patients by monitoring vital signs, administering medication and injections, dressing wounds, setting up patient care equipment, and assisting with personal hygiene and daily activities.

4. Document and maintain accurate records of patient’s health condition and progress.

5. Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care, participating in team meetings, and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

6. Support and educate patients and their families about the patient’s health condition and the progress of their treatment plan.

7. Respond to emergencies and critical situations compassionately and calmly.

Requirements:

1. An active NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse.

2. Proven experience as an RGN in a hospital or similar clinical setting.

3. Excellent knowledge of nursing techniques and procedures.

4. Proficient in handling and operating medical instruments and equipment.

5. Compassionate, patient, and with good decision-making skills.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

7. The ability to work flexibly across various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
