RMN

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary healthcare team, providing top quality mental health care to patients in Manchester.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing high-quality patient care in line with personal capabilities and in accordance with NMC guidelines on professional practice and conduct.

2. Evaluating patient progress and responding to changes in patient conditions.

3. Creating and maintaining relevant and accurate patient records.

4. Providing emotional support and psychological therapy to patients with various mental health conditions.

5. Implementing care plans, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the safety of all patients.

6. Liaising with patients’ families to ensure they receive the necessary support and information regarding the patient’s condition.

7. Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to strategize and implement patient treatment plans.

8. Maintaining a safe, tidy, and hygienic working environment.

Requirements:

1. Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with the NMC.

2. Desired experience in a similar role – providing mental health nursing in a healthcare setting.

3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

4. An empathetic and patient-centric approach to care.

5. Resilience and the ability to manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.

6. Knowledge of mental health legislation and its application in a clinical setting.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.
