Seven Nursing is searching for a Mental Health Support Worker in the Kings Lynne area.

The rate of pay for this role is £12-£16 P/H.

The Care Home is a residential home for people aged 18-65 with enduring mental health needs, providing support through person-centred planning and focuses on enabling people to reclaim control over their lives through use of the Recovery Model.
Individuals are supported to participate in the day to day running of their home as well as their own recovery to independence.

Individuals are actively encouraged to attend groups and courses in the community to improve on their integration into the community as well as learning new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide emotional support, practical assistance and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties

– Assist in the provision and implementation of a care plan tailored to the needs of the individual

– Develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships with clients

– Liaise with the wider team to ensure that all aspects of support and care are being delivered effectively

– Encourage and support clients to participate in activities that will promote their wellbeing and social inclusion

– Ensure that all paperwork and records are kept up to date


– Experience of working with individuals who have mental health difficulties

– Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to mental health support

– Ability to work closely with individuals and develop positive relationships

– Knowledge of the local area and availability and access to local services

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
