Seven Life Science are currently seeking a Head of Quality Supply Chain RP to work in Dublin.
Job Description
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Supply Chain Services Quality Management System. Act as the RP for the WDA licenses associated with the SC division of the Uniphar Group.
- The role is responsible for providing Quality oversight of the company’s Distribution activities, ensuring compliance with WDA licenses, applicable regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- The role will drive continuous improvement initiatives and work to provide support and guidance to the operational and commercial functions within the division.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Group Quality Director and Global Head of Quality to develop and support the Quality structure within the supply chain business.
- Building a best-in-class quality team and creating a high-performance quality culture across the SCR business.
- Ensuring that all SOP’s are clearly defined and integrated within the wider business and are supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.
- Manage all key relationships with the Regulator, Department of Health and other internal and external stakeholders from a quality perspective.
- Act as the Responsible Person
- Support a continuous improvement mindset whilst ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
- Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing Quality KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of the quality function.
- Manage and identify the quality-related training needs of the business and ensure the culture of the organisation from within.
- Build strong relationships with all other business units across the supply chain division.
- Work with the Operations and Commercial teams to support on key projects within the wider business.
- Responsible for the management of divisional QMS (Change Control, Document Management, SQM, Deviation Management & CAPAs, QRM, Customer Complaints, Returns & Recalls.
- Responsible for team’s goal setting, ongoing performance reviews, and development planning for direct reports.
- Building authentic relationships and leading business meetings and audits of critical suppliers and contract manufacturers and maintaining all product-related Quality Technical Agreements (QTAs).
- Leading and assisted in internal audits and regulatory agency inspections.
- Collaboration with all manufacturers and customers to resolve any quality issues.
- Contribute to the successful outcome of all regulatory inspections associated with company business.
- Understand new regulations and guidelines, as they apply to the company business, and implement systems and procedures to incorporate these new regulations, if appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
- >3 years of work experience as a Manager within Quality in a Pharma regulated industry
- Previous RP experience
- Knowledge and experience with software including word processing, spreadsheets, and statistical analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field
