Seven Nursing are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a care home in Aberdare. The ideal candidate must be diligent, caring and able to work well as part of a team, as well as demonstrate empathy and understanding in dealing with the elderly residents they will be caring for.

Key responsibilities include:

– Administering medication as prescribed by the resident’s physician

– Handling resident’s health-related problems

– Communicate with residents and their families, answering questions and providing support

– Taking and recording vitals regularly

– Monitoring the changing health status of residents and updating care plans accordingly

– Collaborating with other health care providers to support the health of residents

– Maintaining accurate and complete medical records for each patient

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

– A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

– A minimum of one year postgraduate experience in care home nursing

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential

– Experience with care of elderly patients is desirable
