Asset Management Strategic Lead

Seven Social Care is looking for a Asset Management Strategic Lead in Hammersmith and Fulham

The role:

The Asset Management Strategic Lead is responsible for co-ordination of the council’s housing (HRA) Stock Condition Survey programme and management of the inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising. The Strategic Lead will, coordinate and manage the contractor to deliver the Stock Condition Surveys.

The Strategic Lead will collaborate with services across the council to drive projects that develop as a result of the Stock Condition Data. The role requires engagement across multiple services requiring the post holder to have excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The council is currently delivering an exciting £728m Capital Investment programme, the Strategic Lead will support stakeholders to develop the programme and ensure data resulting from completed capital works is embedded within the Asset Management Database.

LBHF have declared a climate emergency and are currently working towards reducing carbon emissions and achieving net zero carbon by 2030. Collaborating with Climate Change colleagues, the Strategic Lead will provide intelligence on assets and provide effective coordination to support services in achieving the councils net zero carbon objectives.

The Strategic Lead will work with the council’s IT Projects Team to implement the new Asset Management Database. They will create and implement processes to ensure all relevant works and documents are uploaded, resulting in a comprehensive and dynamic database.

We are looking for a strong leading professional, who can demonstrate clear strategic and operational leadership, work effectively across teams and  take accountability for  performance. They will need excellent communication skills, be a problem solver with a proven record in service delivery.
