Case Responsible Officer

Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for two Case Responsible Officers to start a new role in Gloucestershire.
As a Case Responsible Officer, you will work in the Youth Support Team (YST) within the Housing Team.
You will be responsible for providing advice, guidance and support to social care colleagues who are:
- Supporting children in care move on from their placements
- Supporting care leavers navigate their housing options
- Supporting care leavers who have become homeless
This is an interim role initially until June 2025 with the possibility of extension, paying £18.26 an hour.
You will be based within Gloucestershire working across various locality offices. The role will involve some hybrid working both at home and in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Establish positive relationships with young people and their families, encouraging active engagement and participation in all aspects of the process.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of young people using an appropriate assessment process including the analysis and assessment of risk within a required timeframe.
- Manage and maintain a caseload of young people and be responsible for ensuring their needs are assessed and effective interventions and programmes are in place to meet needs.
- Lead in the development and implementation of agreed intervention plans for young people and their families taking into consideration complexity of need, level of risk, age and ability.
Applicant Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in a relevant area of work, e.g. Youth Work, Social Care, Family Support, Youth Offending, IAG
- Qualifications: Graduate or equivalent professional qualification (Level 4 NVQ, Social Care, Education, Youth Work, Advice & Guidance, LDSS, Criminal Justice, Health)
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK
- Hours: 37 hours a week
- Travel: Full UK driving license
