Childrens Home Registered Manager

Seven Resourcing are currently looking for a Children’s Home Registered Manager to start a new role in Huddersfield.

As a Children’s Home Registered Manager, you will work within an established children’s home that provides care for young people aged 7 to 18 years old.

The focus of the home is on children with complex needs, learning disabilities, communication difficulties and/or neurodevelopment disabilities.

This is a permanent role offering up to £60,000 a year depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

Be an inspirational leader to Team Leaders and RSW’s by supporting the induction of staff, ongoing training, managing performance, allocation of duties and responsibilities, managing shifts, record keeping and reports, budgets, petty cash, staff deployment and day to day supervision and oversight of the staff and young people

Ensure that records such as care plans, risk assessments and anti-bullying plans are updated and reviewed

Work with the management team to ensure that you achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within the residential care sector

Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 desirable)

Compliance: Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK  

Hours: 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday

Travel: Full UK driving license (Essential)
