Childrens Home Registered Manager (Interim)

Seven Social Care have an exciting new opportunity available as a Childrens Home Registered Manager in the Bradford area. 

The post holder will manage a Children’s Home staff team and provide clear and effective leadership to model best practice and lead on interventions to train and develop others as required. You will be part of an aspirational culture and approach to improve and develop the Children’s Residential Service to achieve its vision of providing high quality care and support to children, young people and their families as stated in the Children’s Homes Statement of Purpose. You will proactively provide support and supervision to a Children’s Home Staff team that is dedicated to working with young people and their families in ways that will achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

To manage the care home in accordance with all relevant legislation and within West Berkshire Council’s policies and procedures

To ensure that CQC standards are adhered to across all Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE)

To ensure that a person-centred approach is adopted throughout the home

To liaise with internal and external departments / organisations to deliver and develop effective services

  • To operate in accordance with the services four values: Respect, Inclusion, Compassion and Empowerment

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ level 5 in Management.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Current DBS check.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
